El pasado jueves 22 de junio, Yantar Natura tuvo el placer de realizar el acto de lanzamiento de su firma y tienda online (www.ambarynatura.com) con la celebración de una presentación exclusiva para la Asociación Española de Blogs de Moda (AEBDM). Como muchos sabéis, el mundo de los bloggers y su importancia crecen a ritmo vertiginoso y esta asociación ha permitido que los blogueros compartan experiencias y se pongan en contacto con multitud de actividades del mundo de la moda.

On Thursday June 22nd, Yantar Natura was pleased to perform the launch of the firm and its online store (www.ambarynatura.com) by holding an exclusive presentation to the Spanish Association of Fashion Blogs (AEBDM). As many of you know, the world of bloggers and their importance is growing fast ad this association has allowed bloggers to share experiences and contact them with a multitude of activities regarding the world of fashion.

En este caso, recibimos la visita de miembros de la asociación en nuestro showroom, donde miembros del departamento comercial (Marisol Zurita e Ivonne Castro) y de diseño (Lorena Cabrerizo) pudieron explicar a las bloggers el producto que se ofrecía, calidades, materiales y diseño. A continuación, Francisco Durán, gerente de la firma, impartió un seminario donde pudo explicar todas las características que hacen del ámbar un material tan especial: las diferentes calidades, su origen, su uso estético, de coleccionismo, cómo diferenciar el ámbar auténtico de las imitaciones, etcétera.

In this case, we were visited by members of the association in our showroom, where members of the sales department (Zurita and Yvonne Marisol Castro) and desig deparmentn (Lorraine Cabrerizo) could explain the bloggers our product and its quality, different materials and design. Then, Francisco Duran, manager of the firm, gave a seminar where he explained all the characteristics that make the amber a material so special: the different qualities, its origin, its aesthetic use, collectors, how to differentiate the genuine amber and the forgeries, etcetera.

Posteriormente, las bloggers eligieron diferentes estilismos de joyería y posaron con ellos para mostrarnos sus propuestas de combinación de ropa con estos preciosos accesorios.

Subsequently, the bloggers chose different jewelry outfits and posed with them to show their proposed combination of these precious accessories with their trendy clothes.

El resultado fue una reunión amena y muy interesante en la que tanto las bloggers como los miembros de la firma aprendimos mucho: unos acerca de materiales, calidades e imitaciones, otros sobre las tendencias y los estilismos más demandados. A continuación, te describimos los pasos del rito: Prepara una infusión con lavanda, ruda, mejorana y salvia. Sepárala en una jarra, tetera o botella. Prepárate un baño templado en la bañera de tu casa. Enciende las tres velas con cerillas y sumerge las tres piedras dentro del agua. Añade al agua del baño la infusión que has hecho con lavanda, ruda, mejorana y salvia. Sumérgete en el baño y mira las velas mientras respiras pausadamente. Mientras tanto, pide al Universo que tus problemas se vayan con el agua de ese baño. Coge la piedra de ojo de tigre y piensa que es un medio de comunicación con la energía y el Cielo que te bendecirá y solucionará tus problemas económicos ayudándote a atraer el dinero. Coge después la amatista y siente que esta piedra te ayudará con el amor y te pondrá en contacto con la energía del cosmos y con el Cielo. Encendemos el cirio y también el incienso. 2. Cogeremos las dos piedras de aventurina verde, una en cada mano. Mentalmente tendremos que pedir salud al Arcángel a la vez que nos visualizamos inundados de luz, radiantes, sanos y felices. 3. Last weekend British people celebrated 60 years of Queen Elizabeth II reign. One of the oldest monarchies and, for sure, a monarchy with the most famous Crown Jewels. Yantar Natura wants to analyze for you the articles in this historic collection that were created for powerful women belonging to this dynasty. Crown Jewels of United Kingdom are considered the most valuable collection in the world. This collection is kept in the Tower of London and used in most relevant official ceremonies where the Royal Family celebrates. What are the jewels especially made for queens? Our description follows: Mary of Modena's Crown: it was one of the first crowns created for a consort queen. It has more than 550 diamonds (including the famous diamond called Koh-i-Noor, brought from India), 129 pearls, 4 crosses and 4 fleurs de lis, made of diamonds. La Corona de la Reina María: la corona de esta consorte cuenta con 2.200 diamantes, entre los que destaca de nuevo el diamante Koh-i-Noor y los diamantes Cullinan III y Cullinan IV. Actualmente pertenece a la colección privada de la reina.

Queen Mary's Crown: this crown has 2,200 diamonds, where the Koh-i-Noor diamond and Cullinan III and Cullinan IV diamonds highlight . In the present moment, it belongs to the queen's private collection.

La Corona de la Reina Madre (la Reina Isabel): esta corona fue fabricada en la abadía de Wensminster y es la primera corona de una reina consorte que fue desarrollada en platino. Cuenta con gran cantidad de piedras preciosas, destacando nuevamente el diamante Koh-i-Noor sobre una cruz central. Éste fue obtenido por la Compañía de las Indias del Este, pasando a ser parte de las Joyas de la Corona Británica con la proclamación de Victoria como emperatriz de la India. Además en la fabricación de esta corona se emplearon diamantes procedentes de la corona de la Reina María. Actualmente, se exhibe en la Torre de Londres.

The Crown of the Queen Mother (Queen Elizabeth): this crown was made in Wensminster Abbey and it is the first crown made for a consort queen using platinum. It has a lot of precious stones where, again, the Koh-i-Noor diamond highlights over a central cross. This diamond was obtained the the East India Company and joined the Crown Jewels once Queen Victoria was proclaimed as Empress of India. Besides, in the manufacture of this crown jewelers used diamonds from Queen Mary's Crown. Nowadays it is shown in the Tower of London.

La Tiara de la gran Duquesa Vladimir: ésta es la más conocida y la más utilizada. Cuenta con 15 círculos de diamantes con una perla engastada en forma de pera, que puede sustituirse por una esmeralda.

Wladimir Duchess Tiara: this is the best known one and also the one that is used the most. It has 15 circles of diamonds with a pear-shaped pearl that can be replaced with an emerald.

Además de las coronas y tiaras, resulta interesante mencionar el Anillo de la Coronación y también los Armíllee, unos brazaletes hechos en oro que simbolizan la sinceridad y la sabiduría. En la coronación de Isabel II, se elaboró un nuevo conjunto de brazaletes ofrecidos por los gobiernos de los países de la Commonwealth.

Apart from crowns and tiaras, it is interesting to mention the Coroation Ring and the Armílee, bracelets made of gold, a symbol of sincerity and wisdom. In the coronation of queen Elizabeth II a new set of bracelets were offered to her by the governments of Commonweatlh countries.

Aventurina verde, la piedra preciosa del mes de Junio. / Green Aventurine, the precious stone in the month of June.

Con el mes de junio llega el verano, y con él la alegría el color. A mediados de este mes, el Sol entrará en Cáncer, por ello, la piedra de este mes es la aventurina verde, muy relacionada con este signo. Además, en esta temporada, es el color verde el que está de moda. Otro de los nombres para denominar a esta piedra preciosa es, de hecho, cuarzo verde. El nombre de la aventurina procede de la palabra italiana ventura, que significa azar. Este nombre lo debe a que fue descubierta por casualidad, en el siglo XVIII.

Summer arrives with June and, with this season, happiness and colour. In the middle of this month, the Sun comes into the sign of Cancer and that is why the stone of this month is green aveturine, a stone strongly connected to this sign. Besides, during this seson, green will be the trend in colours. Actually, we can call aventurine green quartz too. The name of aventurine comes from the Italian word ventura meaning random. The reason for this name is that this stone was discovered by chance in the 18th Century.

Esta piedra preciosa tiene características inclusiones, que son las que le dan ese color verdoso con reflejos brillantes. De hecho, esta característica se denomina también efecto aventurinado. Estas inclusiones son pequeñas micas amarillas con reflejos de color dorado que, al estar orientados en mil direcciones diferentes, crean un brillo muy especial y vistoso.  Sin embargo, en algunos casos, el brillo no está producido por la mica, sino por cristales de cuarzo. Éstos son los ejemplares más valorados. Antiguamente, la aventurina se obtenía yacimientos a orillas del Mar Blanco. En la actualidad, se obtiene principalmente en la zona de Karnataka, India. Así mismo, existen algunos yacimientos en Estados Unidos, Sudáfrica, Alemania y Austria. La aventurina verde se utiliza principalmente para joyería, si bien no podemos olvidar que los abalorios hechos con esta piedra pueden ser utilizados en gemoterapia y también con fines mágicos y para atraer la buena suerte.

The main characteristic of this precious stone are inclusions that give a green color with brilliant reflections. Actually, this characteristic is called the aventurine effect.These inclusions are made of yellow micas with golden reflection. Each one has is oriented differently producing a very special and eye-catching shine. However, sometimes the shine is produced by crystals made of quartz and not mica. Those are the most valued issues. Long ago, aventurine was taken from deposits in the White Sea. Nowadays, aveturine is mainly taken from Karnataka, India. Besides, some smaller deposits are found in teh United States, South Africa, Germany and Austria. Green aventurine is mainly used for jewelry, but we can not forgent that accesories made with this stone can be used for gem therapy and with magic purposes or to attract good luck.
